Annie Sloan Furniture Painting Techniques - Evening Workshop
Join us for an evening workshop to learn a vast variety of Annie Sloan paint and wax techniques to transform your furniture.
The workshop will run from 4pm - 8pm, and is held at our Wimbledon shop
During the 4 hour (approx.) workshop, you’ll get hands on and learn a number of paint techniques. We’ll go through the different brushes and brush strokes to create flat and textured finishes, and cover the range of coloured waxes and how to use them, as well as the difference in finish that each offers. Once you’re familiar with the basics we’ll move on and explore some more advanced techniques including a heat crackle, ombre, rough lux, and how to achieve our signature rustic, textured look. Finally, we’ll have some fun with stenciling, gold leaf and gold paint too!
We will of course also run through the all-important colour theory so you’re fully clued up on how to use Annie Sloan for your upcoming furniture projects. In among all the painting, there is also time allotted for wine and nibbles!
